THE FRIDAY WRAP UP & LINKS TO START THE NEW YEAR RIGHT

We’re all coming down from the historic storm that wasn’t, and while we didn’t get any great snow days, we are getting some killer sunshine. Winter light is so bright, and looks harsh and beautiful at our little wooded studio.

(May we be so bold as to recommend this for your afternoon drinking pleasure?) Here’s an e-mug toast to productivity!

A clever way to order wine.

40 days of being nice (and why sarcasm kills intimacy but stimulates conversation).

Cool guerrilla-style Instagram project.

For the people, by the people.

Museum history meets rye whiskey buzz. (Alternate title: Why we love Baltimore.)

If you’re itchy to make something.

We’re interested to see how Condé Nast’s marriage of business and editorial venture, “23 Stories” plays out.

How place affects behavior.
