Our Director Drury Bynum is like, so famous. His Baltimore Story was featured this week, and in it, he talks Baltimore, SCOUT, and the rise of the creative class. The whole interview is great, but we especially liked this excerpt:
‘Baltimore has an edgy, creative authenticity that is so deeply ingrained that it can’t be compromised. I’ve seen other cities that try to manufacture it but they don’t come close. If you don’t have creative people, you don’t have shit.’
After 27 years of being a part of Baltimore’s creative community, we’ll agree with pretty much anything he has to say on the subject. Check out the entire interview here, and learn a little more about how one of our fearless leaders came to call this city home, and how Baltimore enables both his social and professional lives to thrive.
